ECO Club

Our Motto- ‘Come let us save our mother Earth’

Eco Club plays an important role in creating environmental awareness among the future generation. A group of people who are interested in doing something for the environment can achieve much more than an individual can. T. It also enables the students to be sensitive towards environmental concern to tackle environmental problems. There are interesting and exciting activities carried out in this club to make our environment a better one.

The objectives of Eco club

• Motivate the students to keep their surroundings green and clean by undertaking plantation of trees.
• Promote ethos of conservation of water by minimizing the use of water.
• Motivate students to inculcate habits and life style for minimum waste generation, source separation of waste and disposing the waste to the nearest storage point.
• Sensitize the students to minimize the use of plastic bags, not to throw them in public places as they choke drains and sewers cause water logging and produce breeding mosquitoes.
• Organize tree plantation programmes, awareness programmes such as Quiz, Essay and Painting Competitions, Rally etc. regarding various environmental issues and educate students about re-use of waste material and preparation of products out of waste.
