Gonzaga College
Is Envisioned by the sisters of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of St. Aloysius Gonzaga (FSAG), established in 2009, and affiliated to the Periyar University, Salem, Gonzaga College has been imparting quality education for the last 9 years as one of the most prestigious Arts & Science Colleges in Krishnagiri. The architect of our College is Rev. Mother C. Noel Rani, FSAG, the then Superior General of the Congregation and now the Secretary of Gonzaga College. True to its Motto, “Educate to Empower”, the institution works with commitment to create a just and humane society, upholding national integration and religious harmony, with special emphasis on the enrichment of the poor, marginalized and downtrodden women in society. As recognition of its endeavors and achievements in the academic, cultural and social realms, NAAC had accredited the College with B Grade in 2016, with a CGPA of 2.55 on a four point scale.
The College is recognized as an institution of excellence that nurtures intellectual and academic pursuits, providing adequate opportunities for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and a conducive environment for over-all development of young inquisitive minds when they enter the portals of this vibrant institution.
